Olympic Park In Seoul, South Korea

Olympic Park Seoul: Every city has it’s massive park where the locals relax and waste a day.  New York has Central Park.  Sydney & Melbourne both have Royal Botanic Gardens.

Chicago has Millennium Park.  Portland has Mills End.   Tokyo has Yoyogi.  Kyoto has Maruyama.  Paris has Champ de Mars.  Seoul is no different.

Seoul’s Olympic Park was built to host the 1988 Summer Olympics.  Now, it’s used by the locals.  The park is filled with sculptures, endless walks, sporting facilities and non-sporting facilities.   It has endless amounts of trees and walkways where you could get lost.  There’s a lake sitting a couple of steps from the World Peace Gate.

The massive and iconic World Peace Gate is a great photo opportunity along with the man-made lake.  In addition, there’s the Rose Plaza sitting on the other side of the park.  Also, make sure you check out the 5 palaces while in Seoul.  Hope you enjoy the pictures!
